Manuel Kundinger studied organ from 2002 to 2006, Catholic church music and music education with Professor Karl Maureen at the Academy of Music in Augsburg. He further completed his studies with Prof. Paolo Crivellaro at the University of the Arts in Berlin and ended the concert examination in 2009 with the organ. His intensive study of historical performance practice of Bach’s organ works led him to master classes with Prof. Dr. Ludger Lohmann, Stuttgart and Prof. Lorenzo Ghielmi, Milan/Basel.

Parallel to his studies he received singing lessons from chamber singer Helena Jungwirth of the Academy of Music in Augsburg, and furthered his studies with vocal chamber singer Claes H. Ahnsjö, Munich. In November 2007 Manuel made ​​his debut as a baritone singer with a recital in his hometown of Donauwörth.

Manuel Kundinger participates in numerous festivals and concert series as an organist, recital and concert singer. In February 2010, Manuel Kundinger was a prizewinner at the International Singing Competition “Chamber Opera Schloss Rheinsberg” followed by his first engagement as a guest singer at the Staatstheater Braunschweig.

In June 2012 Manuel Kundinger concluded his vocal studies at the International Academy of Voice Wales with a Master of Arts. During this time he studied with Dennis O’Neill and Nuccia Focile. He also attended master classes with Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Nelly Miricioiu, Della Jones and Ryland Davies.

For many years, Manuel Kundinger collaborates with pianist Stéphane Bölingen and is focused on the German art song.
